Yamaha’s MT-15 V1 is a famous hyper naked bike that was introduced in 2019. If you have been following Yamaha for a while, you will be well aware that the company is famous for taking risks. The bike is available in ice flue vermillion, dark matt blue and metallic black colors. The MT-15 V1 contains a single LED unit with low LED DRLs along with low and high beams. The fuel capacity of this bike’s tank is around 10 liters. What’s more, the MT-15 boasts a single piece seat that feels quite comfortable, especially when riding long distances. MT-15 V1s is BS6 compliant and the bike is powered by a 155cc 4 stroke, liquid cooled and 3 speed mesh transmission engine. The max power of the engine is 10,000 rpm, with a torque around 8500 rpm. The inclusion of a variable valve actuator along with a slip and assist clutch are some other noteworthy additions to this bike.

The MT-15 comes with disc brakes on the rear and front areas. The diameter of the front disc is around 282 mm while the diameter of the rear disc is around 220 mm. Yamaha provides single channel ABS for improving this bike’s brake performance, ensuring you have the vehicle in your control, even when riding at high speeds.

The absence of an aluminum rear swing arm is quite noteworthy, especially considering that it is present in most Yamaha bikes. Yamaha replaced this swing arm by installing a steel box type device. When it comes to performance, this bike really delivers, as it can easily cross 37 mph within three seconds.
